6x9 speakers are the largest common car speaker size. They are used in rear decks and in the doors of many trucks, and their oval cone gives them more bass than round speakers of similar width. Shop 6x9s from Kicker, Pioneer, Rockford Fosgate, Alpine, Infinity, Hertz and Kenwood.
Coaxial or component?
Coaxial 6x9s have the tweeter mounted on the woofer and drop straight into the factory location. Component 6x9 sets use separate tweeters and crossovers for better imaging. Check the mounting depth and whether you need a speaker adapter for your vehicle.

Will 6x9s fit my car?
Many vehicles use 6x9s in the rear deck or doors. Check your owner's manual or ask us with your year, make and model.
Do I need an amp for 6x9s?
Most will run off a head unit, but an amplifier gives them more clean volume and bass.
