Line Output Converters
203 products
A line output converter (LOC) turns your factory radio's speaker-level signal into an RCA signal an aftermarket amplifier can use. It is the easiest way to add a subwoofer or amplifier while keeping the stock stereo, steering-wheel controls and dash screen. We carry more than 230 LOCs and signal processors from AudioControl, PAC, ARC Audio, NAV-TV, Ground Zero, Clarion and Rockford Fosgate.
Types of line output converters
- Basic 2-channel LOCs for adding a subwoofer amp.
- 4- and 6-channel units for full-system amplifier upgrades.
- Signal processors and DSPs that fix factory EQ and sum the channels on premium factory systems.
- Units with remote turn-on that switch your amp on with the radio.
Pair it with an amplifier from amplifiers, a subwoofer and an amp wiring kit.
FAQ
Do I need a line output converter?
If your factory radio has no RCA outputs and you want to keep it, yes. Some amplifiers have high-level inputs built in instead.
Why does my factory system sound thin with an amp?
Many factory systems roll off bass or add EQ. A processor with summing and bass restoration can correct that.
Can you install it?
Yes. We install LOCs and amplifiers at our Vaughan shop.
Want it installed? Our shop at 4000 Steeles Ave W, Unit 5 & 6 in Vaughan (at the Toronto border) installs what we sell. Call 647-350-7424 or contact us. Open Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm.
